Passed a house today with a very unusual name. The sign said "EGGS FOR SALE" [bigwhistle]

Another variation we see is "FREE RANGE EGGS"

- never quite sure if the emphasis is on "free" or "range" eggs

Haven't seen anyone successfully purchasing a garage, though!

We get a lot of copycats here every weekend,all calling their place "Garage Sale"
Haven't seen anyone successfully purchasing a garage, though!

Cos it's French for Dirty Shed, ya see. [bigwhistle]

There is a sign on the cliff tops down in Deep Creek National Park that says "Hang gliding by permit only".

Would have to be an awfuly big permit to generate enough lift..........

When the people next door built a story house they had an expensive glass sign mounted in there front retaining wall which read " LAKE VIEW HOUSE " I was going to put a sign out the front reading " DID HAVE LAKE VIEW HOUSE " but wife wouldn't let me.[biggrin]

We have a house out here called "BAA POO" and they were selling it for only $2.

The house must be in worse condition than mine, so I kept driving [biggrin][biggrin]

It's like motels which have a sign saying 'free wifi'....I say to the mrs as we drive past...ooh look...a free wifey....she doesn't think I should give up my day job.....

Another person to feel sorry for is Phil, as in "Free Fill" (I think they even spelt his name wrong).

There is a local real estate agent here called Love Real Estate and I chuckle every time I pass one of their houses marketed for sale. The sign says LOVE FOR SALE!!!!!!!!!!![bigwhistle]

Or the Gary J Smith Real Estate office with the slogan "We're Home" on the office.
Every time I try to visit their office, it says "we're home" on the door, so I assume they are closed........
