Having no access to a D1 I was wondering if anyone knows if the surface profile of a D1 mud guard where the am/fm antenna is installed is the same profile as the D2 mud guard in the same area. I am looking at options for putting an external antenna on my D2.

Do you have a bulbar fitted to the D2?
On my D2a there is a rubber grommet at the rear end of the roof for an antenna [thumbsupbig]

Yup! I have a bull bar but want to body mount the AM/FM antenna because it provides the best groundplane . My UHFCB antenna is centre roof mounted for that reason.

Doesn't a '97 on Disco have the am/fm aerial in the rear D/S window?
