Can someone please advise where the best place is to get a replacement FOB for a defender 2017 2.4? A friend has just bought a puma and the FOB is falling to bits and can't be repaired.
Thanks Lindsay.

Hi,
I have seen advertisments from locksmiths offering fobs that program to multiple cars and the garage door.
Is there a Jacksons locksmith in your area?
Cheers

Any chance my 2003 td5 130 can be converted to remote locking easily, or did previous owner lose fob and not tell me.
In anticipation....

Oldyella,
When I lost a fob for my 2010 defender I got 2 new ones from the UK via ebay. I did just check and the seller doesn't seem to have them anymore so i won't post the link. If you do get them make sure that they are for the 10as and have the correct frequency (433MHz). They will also be the same as used on Freelanders and some Rover cars but check with the seller for compatibility first.
If it is just falling apart and the electronics are good just buy a new key fob case this will also save on re-programming a new one to the vehicle.

Hi,
Have a look behind you dash and if there is a 10AS box there then they probably just lost the key fob. the frequency you would need would be on the label on the 10as unit.
