Grabbed this today, for 'small' sum. Build up some spares.
Anyone shed any light for me please. Would any parts fit my S3 gearbox ????
Year?
Steel plate conversion ?? Almost looks home made.
Oil filter, and pump, in behind spark plug plate ???? In side motor.
Finds first and second. Transfer works, as does High/low. still need to play.
Slave cyl plate original or HM.
Also oval hole in bell housing ????
Thanks.

Parted and placed in a warm dry place.
Have a Ferguson Jib, but carryall was mounted, so tried this.

Holden grey motors were a popular engine conversion back in the fifties and sixties before the Holden red motors
became available. Back then Land Rover didn't have a six of their own available until about 1967, and then it
was only available in the long wheel base vehicles.
Certainly a lot of work and daydreaming gone into making up that adaptor plate up.
Definitely looks to be a home made job. All interesting stuff.

Cheers, Mick.
