Will the LED lights on my new camper, when I get it, work o/k when I connect it to my non LED 2009 Defender without the need for any resistors or the like. I have been getting conflicting advice and I need them to work for when I pick the camper up.
Thanks for any advice.

I changed my camper trailer lights to LED and they work fine with my 2015 Defender so should be no problem.

The LED lights on the trailer will work but the trailer light on the dash probably won't

The light on the dash blinks now because of the bullbar blinkers, so it doesn't matter if it stops blinking as long as the trailer led's work o/k.
Thanks

If you replace the globes in the bulbar with LED globes that fixes up that little thing (it bugged me) and the LED on the trailer probably still won't trigger the dash light if you do replace the bulbar globes

You can buy an adjustable LED indicator relay so you can fine tune the trailer light setting.

I have led lights on all my trailers and the trailer indicator on the dash of my D2a doesn't light up But who cares I always check to see that all my trailer lights are working every time I hook one up anyway [thumbsupbig]

As stated above no issues with Defenders except for the trailer indicator light which will either flash because of your bullbar lamps or not at all. My 2016 130 runs LED tail lights and so does my trailer, no issues at all.
