I have a 2012 Defender 110. The wipers have recently decided to not stop once I've turned them on. The only way to get them to switch off is to turn off the ignition. I initially thought it was the relay located under the steering wheel so I replaced it with a Bosch unit. Unfortunately it has made no difference. Is there another part of the circuit that needs investigation and if so, where do I need to turn my attention? I'm hoping it's something that's accessible! All help, greatly appreciated! Cheers Jack

If your wiper motor is anything like older style wiper motors I've worked on in the past you need to find the internal parking switch that stops the motor at the end of its stroke. This will be damaged or bent allowing the motor to drive past the switch off zone.

I had a look at the park switch on the week end. Took it out, looked at it and put it back in. The wipers are working fine now. I did notice the small square locating bit was slightly worn. The red wire was
hard bent where it clips into the park switch too. All fine for now. Can put the fuse cover back on and go back to stalk actuated wipers.
