Tranny oil change ZF8

Hi, Just wondering where to buy ZF8 oil and filter/pan kit for an oil change on my disco 4. Has 92,000 k`s and has not had oil changed.

Well, not to sure how quickly you need it but Repco sell it. They have 30% off sales every so often, happened last week end, so I bought some. RRP $85 /L, but on sale at $57 /L. So I am sure some one will have a cheaper option [biggrin] (and I have been ripped I guess[bigsad]) but you can always wait for another sale or they have a standard discount for auto club members here in SA (RAA) of 20%, probably the same for other states as well but I d onot know.

If you read the 8 speed auto FAQ and "Robbie's Guide.........oil change" you will see his opinion about the need to change filters. Me, I will still change it but you can make up your own mind. You could try Repco, you never know or Triumph Rover Spares in Adelaide.

When I did the steel pan on my 6sp I bought the pan plus the oil straight from ZF in Sydney . They were as cheap as anyone and I got enough oil to do a couple of flushes as well.

No and no. Genuine oil is available via eBay too. Don’t recall price.
