Saw on an abc feed some fine example of humanity has been laying the equivalent of stinger strips on bike paths. Too bad I don’t know how to cut and paste these things from the iPad.

You can get very strong rare earth magnets these days. You could fit one to a stalk off your front wheel nut to 'sweep 'the area in front of your leading tyre.
I've got two about the same size as those in the link. They will draw blood if the snap together with skin between them.

Might be time to put up some motion detecting cameras in the area so justice can be carried out - there is no excuse for such low acts.

A thumb tack in a pushbike tyre is an inconvenience But one of these in some poor dogs paw can be very painful and can lead to an infection.
I think that this is a kids "Prank" But nevertheless it is bloody stupid and thoughtless.
