Guys,
For those that have a Scangauge (or something similar) permanently installed on their Pumas, what are some readings that u can get out of the Scangauges? (eg:EGT readings?; Gearbox Temp?; Boost Pressure?, Engine Temps?; Coolant Temp?: etc)

I use an Ultragauge on my 2.2

It can detect 59 parameters available from the PUMA motor, including what you have listed. You can set upper and lower alarms on the values No info is available from the gearbox

Cool, so there's no need to install a separate EGT & Boost Gauge then ??

Do u have any photos of it and where u installed it?

I've mounted mine directly above the steering column, fits well in the space where the digital readout should be! LOL.

Not sure if I'm missing it, but I'm unable to find the EGT function (Puma 2.2) on the scan gauge. Could it have another abbreviation?

There is no EGT probe on a Tdci so you won’t have that reading available.

Good to know.... is the EGT gauge something that Puma owners fit to their vehicles as a safety precaution?

I assume the BOOST should be able to be read from the Scangauge?

Scangauge II mounted above the driver's heater. Make sure you mount it so that it faces right towards your eyes , or it can be a bit hard to see if you have polarised sunnies on and it's bright outside.

I've set mine up to show Engine Coolant Temperature, Intake Air Temperature, Litres per 100km, Turbo Boost Pressure...but you can have all manner of different options and it's simple to set up.

Are Scangages available for the obd port on a td5 defender?

I have seen one mounted on the instrument cluster above the steering column.

I've got one on the missus Prado.... I've got Engine Coolant Temperature, 12v Reading, Litres per 100km and SPEED, but wanted to also monitor the Auto Temp but unfortunately our SGII was an older version and didn't that ability.
The other readings that would have been nice is the EGT; Fuel Pressure/Volume...

Hmm SG2 circa $200 vs Ultragauge for $88. I know what we fitted [emoji41]
