I've been having some issues for a while now with playing MP3 music on a USB stick which is connected inside the center console lid. Some songs will play no problem, others will stop part way through (time varies), others won't play at all (with error message file can't be read or similar) - yet they all work just fine when played on a computer. Have also found that the 'shuffle folder' function mostly works.. but the 'shuffle all' generally doesn't... in fact most times it'll just freeze!
i've tried numerous different brand USB sticks, different capacities, and different configurations of the files on them (folders, no folders, different quantities of files etc etc). So far i've not come across the magical combination that just works!
then i got to wondering....Is there a limitation on the number of files that the car system can read? Is there a file bitrate it may not like?
Any help appreciated as it's driving me nuts, and i don't want to continue to resort to playing music from my phone via bluetooth.
