Oil Leak

As Usual here's another question..

I just got me 2000TD5 back form a service and the mechanic has informed me that thee is a leak in the batter box which leaks into the wiring harness, has anybody else had this problem ?? He also wasn''t quite sure if there was a recall of the TD5 for this reason can anybody Help ??
