hi All,

I'm finally getting around to having the Transmission serviced (72K) and when i searched for a local supplier of ZF Lifeguard 8 and one of the options i found was the Nulon equivalent Full Synthetic Multi-Vehicle Automatic Transmission Fluid Low Viscosity - Nulon Products Australia (https://www.nulon.com.au/products/automatic-transmission-fluids/full-synthetic-multi-vehicle-automatic-transmission-fluid-low-viscosity)

Has anyone used this and if so, what are your thoughts.

cheers

Geoff

Do not use anything but LF8
And as yet there Still isn't a steel pan conversion for these so so won't be getting a filter change...

This!

Anything that says 'meets' a specification is not licensed and hasn't been tested by the manufacturer.
You take the risk if it doesn't do what it's supposed to and with LF8 a 'universal' spec fluid is nothing like it.

If my car was that new I’d cough up for the real deal. Mine’s so aged now I use the Motul product on my LF6, but I wouldn’t on a young’n

Last Thursday Repco in WA had 12 L for $71/L in the warehouse. I then went to Motospecs who had 12 L in the warehouse for $45 plus GST. I guess it is the same warehouse. They now have 7 L, I bought 5L.
