Cranks but wont run

Im hoping someone here may be able to assist me . I have a 2008 disco 3 .
Put the car on stands and fitted a new gasket to the drivers side exhaust cross over pipe.
Ran the car at idle to put a little heat in the pipes. Retentioned the flange .started the car to drive off the ramps .as soon as i touched the thtottle the engine died and will not restart.
Cranks fast .good battery voltage .
Bled the fuel .plenty of flow at the bleed valve .
No fault lamps .tried everything I can think of .

Sounds like lack of fuel level in the nose-up position except for fuel at the bleed screw. Perhaps ensure that you're bleeding off the full pipe length from the tank to check that its not pushing air and therefore the fuel is at too low a pressure. Adding 20L to the tank would be worth trying if the level is low.
