I am looking at replacing the existing front and rear shockabsorbers on my GS 110 Perentie, these being Part No.’s BYG4001 (front) andBYG4000 (rear). Does anyone know the fully extended and fully compressedspecification lengths for these OEM shocks or know where I could source this information?I have searched the Army data booklet information for the110 GS Cargo, the Army Parts Listing, and the AULRO and REMLR forums with noluck. Most posted information on both forums relates to Defender rather thanCounty or Perentie. I have been working on the premise that shock absorberrequirements for the Perentie would be the same as for an Isuzu-engined 110County +50mm.
I’ve narrowed shock absorber choices down to 2 or 3 manufacturers, andwhile some manufacturers clearly state their shock absorbers are suitable forthis fitment, others are a little more vague, and for the latter it would beuseful to have the factory extended/compressed length specs for the OEM shocksto be able to ask the manufacturers cross-check this prior to purchasing.
Any assistance appreciated.
Cheers, Dave
