Hi all,
I was working on my doors today , had the interior trim off and there is no dust seal/ plastic sheeting as in most cars, is this normal or has it been lost?
Anyway I put contact on instead, although this doesn't seem very easy or productive, I'd like to get the right thing for a defender door if any such thing exists,but I can't find any info on the correct part.

I thought I saw a foam style one at a wrecker once, possibly off a puma...
Anyone here have some insight?

Cheers James

Barriers were plastic, seen in early pumas too. They switched to foam late on. You can order them in, I recently purchased a genuine foam set for the front doors from UK. I'll check for part numbers....

Anyone know if these will fit the Td5 Defenders?

TIA

EJD500620 = RH

I have them fitted to manual puma doors. Should be able to stick it to older frame doors too.

Why not just use builders barrier plastic and some sikaflex.
After all nobody sees the damn things.
The main thing is to ensure the mastic/sikaflex has no gaps.

I think they switched to foam because it has an insulation advantage over plastic. Soundproofing? Nice try land rover! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I like having the foam barriers in my doors though. Feels good - just does!
