The lead-in wiring has separated from the glass of my rear demister heater mat.

I went to Windscreen O'Briens in Kewdale on advice from others, but they reckon they don't have a process for re-soldering.

JayCar have a Wire Glue that I'm thinking of trying. Anyone have any experience of this product, or similar/better?

I can't see any problems with using it. Worst case is it comes unglued if the demister or window gets too hot.

Cheers

The Jaycar wire glue works well.

Update
The glue worked OKish but I had to do it twice.
Was a wasted effort in the end, 'cos previously a well meaning person since deceased obviously had tried a little heat to soft solder it back on.

RESULT - car was in having other matters looked at. Elect was sitting alongside the drivers door reading up on some of the EAS peculiarities of this machine and heard an almighty bang. The opened rear top window glass had split.
Oops - luckily, I had a second rear window in good nick which will now go in.
Pity because the now broken glass one I had put in from my purchased 93 wreck was made locally by a marine fabricator out of alloy and cost the original owner in the order of $1,000. But I also suspect the frame may have been just a wee bit tight for the glass.
Now I have a spare glassless rear upper frame that I'll most likely never use.
