Been looking at the Ashcroft ATB's to go into my D1 front and back

Looks like the splines are wrong ( as per web site ), so is it an easy matter of just changing the axles/shafts to suit or is there more to it

I do realise it will be a complete re build of both diffs

Buy their axles and matching drive flanges while you're at it.

Stupid question

But what is actually involved in doing the conversion, apart from the center and axles

Original D1, so dont want to stray to far from being a relic...

Thats it, just replace the axles.
You dont have to touch the pinions or rebuild the diff if its OK.
Get Ashcrofts to fit new side bearings to the centre then just swap the crown wheel over. He sends blue paste so you can check the contact pattern.
There are Utube videos on it.
