Has anyone else out there had a problem with a new Disco 3 Diesel.
My new disco ran like a dog at 24000k service, they took it back and some 4 weeks later gave it back to me with a new set of injectors that had to come rom the UK. I have since heard the model is giving trouble with the injectors in the UK.

I've had no probs. Mine's running better and beter all the time (28,000k+).

I also haven't read anyhting about faulty injectors, but as long as they replace them under warranty if they do break (like they obviously did for you), then I won't worry!

Did they give you a car for the 4 weeks?

Thanks for your replys, I have been using ampol fuel , which I get from a local garage that supplys most of the commercial operaters and emergency service down here. They did a fuel test and came back with it all ok with regard to low sulphur and clean. They did give me a car for the 4 weeks but it was a hassle to get it. Apart from that I love the car. It does a lot of hard work from snow to cow **** and everything in between.

No the tracks alright, it helps raise the profile of the Island as a destination for something else other than penguins and koalas

Still a few sheep and cattle but plenty of real estate, every man and his dog wants a holiday home down her so that keps us busy

Island,

Like Jamo never read of injector problems with the diesel.

I've done 23,000km and never had a problem with the injectors.

I've not heard of those problems either.

As far as D3/RRS problems goes, they all seem to suffer from the computer finding problems that are fixed by switching the engine on/off. Happened to me at the top of the Westgate in a V8 D3, just said something like "engine fault" then decided after 10 seconds it was wrong. Similar deal in an RRS.

An islander, hey. May have to meet up if I get over this year or next year. Planning a trip for either the moto gp or the superbikes.
