Thanks for a great day out, I certainly learnt a few things today. That is a great little test track area and covers about everything except sand.

I concur, great day, never felt the adrenilin pump so hard. 2 best things I have done in the last couple of years 1. Buying a landy. 2. Joining GCLRO, what a top bunch of people, so thanks. I also have vid of Caleb, and a combo of Craig, Chris ( Defender) and Josh, so if you want a copy as I cant seem to load it as yet ( is someone starting an album??) pm me and I will send direct tonight or from work. Once again thanks I so much more confidence, just need some bloody proper offroad tyres and slippery slopes will be conquered with ease,

had a fantastic day Kira is really confident in driving offroad (so now I can drink when we go offroading :twisted: ) I was speaking to a couple off the Gold Coast 4x4 guys and they indircated interest in maybe organising joint club trips every now and then. So we left a good impression (for landy owners) :wink:

Cheers for sunday everyone.Zoe and I had a great day. Can't beat a good training day for newbies..she is very keen to go out again and drive:)
Dropped the Classic off to Glenn last night at 10pm for its diff/suspension change. Going for a little bit more lift and will just run 33 muddies on sunraisiers for now id say. Don't think will get up to 35's (too much cutting!) but getting pro comp shockers on it and custom springs. Should have same articulation as Glenns Disco Ute he reckons.

Was funny the look on Glenns face when Zoe asked if he was gonna put a step on the side to get in haha. He thought she was kidding!

Got him to do a rear bar for it but may not be ready for Fraser.. so will just get the main stuff like diffs and suspension done.

Also hands up for Josh (outlaw) for BBQ and the rest of the effort he put in on sunday..good work!

Can't wait for next trip and will see most of you at show on Sunday

Ive added a couple of pics and 3 vids that some of you may not have seen. Also as I only found out, for those that dont know how to open the videos/ one way of doing it, is to right click and save to desktop. Mine doesnt seem to then open with windows media player, but no probs with Quicktime ( which is free to download off the net). Now that I know this, am going to upload other video from our Ormeau trip,

Precisely, when I look back at some of the video I took ( just posted it all up, I have a thread for it) it looks well ummm almost easy to the inexperienced eye. Probably needs to have vid taken from a different angle maybe
