Got a pic? I don't know what a band clamp is.

If they are the ones I'm thinking of you can lever them open with a small flat screw driver and close them again with pliers.

Do you mean Cobra clamps? There is a special tool for them but a screwdriver will remove them and pliers with relatch them. The tool makes it easier.

Or leave it where it is and use another piece of foam or whatever and cable tie it in the right place.

Is it the low pressure hose that rubs on the block down low on left side of vehicle?

I've got a pair of these. They are awesome. For normal clamps in most auto applications.

There is another variant with the below, different inserts for the 'click' clamps:

AFAIK they are "Click" clamps and you can buy the tool on ebay for under $20.

When you get them off, throw them away and replace with worm drive hose clamps.

I think you are right Philip . Have to replace the line as it has rubbed through on the corner where the foam should have been.

THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR HELPING

some times they are actually better then worm drive clamps for not leaking if you are referring to jubilee clamps

I agree But the jubilee clamps are Soooooo much more user friendly and are not as size critical as the spring clamps[bigwhistle]

Exactly. I've seen a few broken radiator outlets where people have fitted worm drive clips to stop a leak instead of replacing the hose. They keep tightening the worm drive until the outlet snaps off. Spring clamps don't need retightening after installation either.

I'm quite happy with spring clamps as I have the right tool to remove/refit them:

It locks when one releases the spring clamp and holds it in the open position.

Yes I have one of them but I also bought one with a cable on it to get to the tough ones down near the thermostat. Cheap from China.
