Got in my MY16 D4 tonight and the white light on the transmission ring and around it started to flash intermittently. This happened for about 1 minute, moved the dial between, R, D and N an couple of times without any change.
Headlight setting on Auto and it was dark
They are now not on at all, just the red light for the D, N, P etc.
No errors showing on the IID Tool when i ran up a check
Anyone experienced this?

Are these Disco3 threads describing the same issue?

That's it! Thanks, the car is at Brisbane City Landrover today to fix the tailgate. I raised the issue with them so in the next 3 or so return visits they may actually fix it.

I'm off to Specsavers, I'm sure there is an issue visible on the photo but I can't see it.

Don’t these JLR dealers do wonders for customer relations.....
Our fleet of work vans go to the local TOJO dealer, never ever had an issue. And they don’t charge anywhere near the rediculous LR labour rate of over $220/hr.

Yep, hard to see on the silver. Its been push out from the inside probably when they remounted the actuator

Hi,
Would you mind if I ask how much the Dealer charged to replace the actuator? I have just done mine myself and am curious to know if I saved any money.
Thanks

Annoying, but paintless dent removal should work.

What a laugh... goes in for repairs and comes out with more damage... How is that (and sooo many more examples) even mildly acceptable...

It was done under warranty, still not working 100% of the time. Attempt number 4 needed
