Another exciting topic... Sorry.

What are peoples thoughts on genuine rubber mats vs aftermarket?

What good aftermarket options have you found?

I've discovered that the genuine mats are good quality but don't cover the carpet under the driver's pedals.

Weathertech seems to make a good fitting set of mats including cargo liner, and they are popular overseas. No stock in Oz so can't see them and not sure about RHD suitability as they are a US made product.

For the boot liner you could try this , no idea if it is any good but looks roughly the right shape:

Land Rover Range Rover Sport L494 - Cargo Liner Trunk Mat - Custom Fit Euro Division: Your European Automotive Specialist (https://eurodivision.com.au/land-rover-range-rover-sport-l494-boot-cargo-liner-trunk-mat.html)

For the drivers mat I just cut an old rubber mat to shape , originally from some other car I had a long time ago. I don't really care how that looks, I am just getting it all dirty anyway.

I just found the place I obtained my mats from

LR Centre: Land Rover Parts & Range Rover Parts Online (http://www.LRParts.net)

They were very efficient in organizing delivery.

Thanks Bails. Only trouble is their shipping costs are extortion.

All up though less than OME and far better quality. Made in China Shipped to the UK and then sent back, sure if one could find direct source would be less. Certainly less than carpet replacement.

I ended up getting a boot liner, currently on ebay for $88.50. Arrived yesterday from Melbourne. It comes rolled up in a box. It is a little reluctant to lie flat at first, but I expect it will flatten quickly. Looks to be made of a thick-ish plastic. It has a small ridge between the main part and the 'lug' section. Seems fit for purpose.

I just received a set of premium mats from Car Floor Mats, Dash Covers & Accessories - 100% Fit | FitMyCar AU (https://www.fitmycar.com/au/)
They arrived in only a few days and were good value for money supplementing my rubber mats which came with the car. The drivers mat is still the ‘short’ cut.
Cheers. Andrew
