A friend asks the following question:

Well, the time has come to fit new tyres to the baby RR (evoque) and am wondering what anyone would suggest or has had a good run with?
Unlikely to see anything offroad since the amarok has arrived so am looking mainly for good onroad performance and reasonably quiet.
Currently running OEM Goodyear efficientgrip (cut to the ****house on shale/gravel roads) but since this is older tech looking to upgrade to something a little better as they are extremely soft on the sidewall (wife likes to corner like she is in an F1 car).

Had a look at the PS4 and PS5 today, nice bit of rubber https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2013/10/178.jpg Am thinking it will likely be between the michelins and the F1 Asymetric 3

So what have people replaced their tyres with please? What would you recommend for my mate?

anyone?

I replaced the tyres on the wifes Evoque about 40K Kms ago, when she gets back tomorrow, I'll have a look at what they are (can't remember), their condition, wear and let you know. They perform well in all weather, are are quiet enough for me and were cheaper than the OEMs.

Toyo Proxes T1 Sport 245/45R20. Sounds like your mates Evoque spends a bit of time on the gravel. I can't vouch for their performance on that surface but can for tarmac use.

These are are about 45k Kms old with about 2-3mm still left:
