According to Topix, I have an MY11 Discovery 4/L319. Which is handy because that's what I paid for.
And the badge on the bum reads SDV6 HSE.
The manual tells me if I have type 1 valves then these are factory TPMS
138677
... and a photo of mine would suggest that I should have TPMS fitted.
138678
But, a VIN check via Topix reports "LESS TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING"
and there's no check or change settings options in the vehicle setup menu
So, my questions are:
1) is it physically there?
2) if it is, will it stop me using a valve removal type tyre deflator, such as an ARB kit?
(Searching this forum shows the TPMS sender sits inside the rim and I would think they wouldn't be standard valves)
3a) can it be enabled via GAP IID or whatever?
3b) if so, is it worthwhile?
Thanks
