How to turn on reversing camera

I have a ne to me MY13 D4 SDV6 HSE with reversing camera that works fine when in reverse.
Read all the blurb I can find but no mention of how to turn the camera on when going forward.
Recently had a Disco Sport as a lone car for a couple of days and it had a button/switch that would turn the rear camera on at any time.
Am I missing something in the D4 controls to do this or is it not possible.

I would say it doesn't work in anything but reverse.

I think it is under the extras button on the touch screen. I can do it on my 2014 model.

Hit the home button, then left arrow on screen, then cameras. It works while driving.

I think it is an MY14+ facelift model feature.

Rumour has it there's a hidden screen. Fiddly, but works, apparently ...

Have you got a HK or Meridian sound system? The ability to access the camera anytime came in with MY14+ I understand also (with the change to the Meridian system).
