Hoping that someone may be able to offer some advice for this issue.
Recently purchased a MY13 Freelander 2 and the steering wheel was off-centre by about 10 degrees. Had a workshop look at it and they had a wheel alignment done and it came back fine.
A week later, I noticed the steering was off-centre again (but more like 5 degrees not 10). Workshop sent it back for another alignment.
Again, a few days later, the steering was off-centre.
Again back for a check and wheel alignment and told there's no play and that it's likely a pothole has been hit.
The car has done less than 2000km in that entire time and the wife isn't exactly a hoon, so I'm confident that it's not the way it's been driven.
I don't see the point in sending it back for wheel alignments if that's not going to solve the issue (even if i'm not paying for it). Does anyone know what might be causing this?
