Actually its probably buggered. Caused by a fractured winch mount which allowed the winch to relocate itself nice and cosy with the condenser.. What's a new one gunna cost me? Seen heaps on Ebay that look the same but different part number.

Hey Boggs,
Well that was rather inconsiderate of your winch........:-)
Assuming the D4 is roughly the same as the D3.....
New condensor is about $400 non genuine. I was told the genuine and non-gen are manufactured in the same factory { not sure if this was accurate} genuine was quoted at $600. That is just for the condensor, it's the fitting that is the real pain in the........ I was quoted 6 hours labour IE: somewhere between $660-$1000 for the labour. However if you have the time and skill, fitting the new one isn't that hard just a PITA as it requires removing the radiator, intercooler, transmission oil cooler and all the other surrouding frame work. If you can do that the regas is only about $70-$80.
hope this helps

Thanks NomadicD3, maybe same but OEM quote $950 for genuine and none in WA, 5 days ordering lead...
Think maybe set up is different with front end of D4, maybe only need to remove top grill, the thingy the bonnet hitch is fastened, trans cooler. Seems intercooler is between radiator and condenser. Bottom end is accessible via the hole where winch used to be.
