I have shudder shake on take up on first and was thinking of pulling out the engine to take a look at the condition of the clutch components. If I do this I may as well clean and paint the engine and replace all the mounts. Also thinking that I may replace the exhaust while I’m at it.
The remaining engine paint looks like a burnt sienna/tan colour. Anyone have a colour code or reference?https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2018/04/855.jpg

I don't think that was the original colour as there is the same paint showing on the tappet cover which suggests it was done after the engine was assembled.
I think they were normally light blue or maybe grey Engine Paint

If it was the same color as my 1950 80" 139660 this was the closest I could find to match .139661139662 Not sure when they changed to gray .
