And right on cue, Leo has posted another video - the new keel is back under Tally Ho.

For those not watching this, you should be. Leo just posted episode 35 which is a good sum up of the project so far, so a perfect time to jump in and start watching - well worth your time IMO.

Fantastic work.
When he was chain sawing the keel did he say "I want to make sure my cuts are in the right place" or "My nuts are in the right place?" as the saw approaches his keel straddled thighs?
My hearing is usually fairly good but I wasn't sure.

For those not following along but have a mild interest or didn’t know about this project, Leo has just released episode 100 which is an overview of the 4 years of the restoration so far. Well worth a watch. 👍

He must have said CUTS 'cos his voice hasn't changed which it would have if he'd said NUTS.[bigrolf]

I have watched the entire series up to date. He has a phenomenal talent at a very young age. Highly recommended.

Ditto - I subscribed to his channel when he had around 1,500 subscribers. One of the best channels out there at the moment - and 1 of only 3 I am a Patreon of - I would like to think that by the time Tally Ho launches I would have helped Leo buy a few feet of rope... [biggrin]

Pity he doesn't run a youtube channel - I'd watch that. I can see the pics from the link but not being on Faceplant means I can't do much else. Will definitely look him up next time I'm down that way though. [thumbsupbig]

I too have been watching since the beginning. When we cleared out Granny's house a couple of years ago, I found a book with an account of the 1927 Fastnet race when TallyHo won the race on corrected time. I sent Leo an email asking if he'd like it for TallyHo's library. He accepted my offer, so I sent it on.
I think he's a very talented young man.

Yes, better someone like him has it than the bottom of a SKIP. At least you can be sure it will be taken care of.
He is very talented & a self Starter/Doer which I admire in that he gets up every day to do some tricky & hard manual work sometimes in pretty crap weather.
Right, where's me measuring stick, wood plane,Adze & buzzer?
