Better bloody believe it https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
We need some cash to go with our abundance of young talent (which seems to get poached whenever you turn your head)!!!
Just need someone who can 'manage' Mr Crowe's enthusiasm for wanting to be owner, CEO, selector, coach, scout, etc etc etc...perhaps someone can keep him on the phone for a while 8O

If you want to keep him on the phone perhaps you should introduce him to Warney.

The Bunnies should go alright now, they've got the right people in the right positions (off field), cash on hand, and a decent nucleus of a good side.
It all comes down to being able to attract and KEEP players.....but I think they're on the right track.
Hopefully the old stagers will hang about the place (i.e. Piggins, Morris) I think George is filthy, because he's poured so much money into it, and never asked for anything....
But Go PARRA
& why on earth do they let the Titans have Blue & Yellow colours! Bad enough they let those f*$^) cowpokes have our colours as well!! Now there's 3 teams with those colours!!!!!

Actually I'm a rugby union follower (for my sins I back the Western Force). I was just stirring, though you get one and only one impression of league in West Oz media that is the league is a game played by people who think rape and smeering **** on motel room walls is apropriate after game boistrousness. Oh and last week there was the fans rioting. I assume this is a tiny minority but it's all that gets reported over here.

When I lived in Canberra I got the best of both worlds the Brumbies and the Raiders.
RL seemed more parochial because there was always a good turn up of supporters for both teams.
There is a huge amount of RL coverage that we never see in the West and the RL footy show knocks spots off the ARL version.
Sadly RL has an image problem that will take while to eradicate.
Oh and by the way Go the Brumbies

Hi all,
1. I am a one eyed Brisbane Broncos, Queensland Reds and Maroons supporter. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
2. I live in Melbourne https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
3. The only rugby of either code I get is if I visit the in-laws who have foxtel, or read the Australian or three day old Courier mail posted down or go to a Storm home game. :x
4. Re the bunnies, I recall that some while ago, the competition was restructured. This new competition was not the NSWRL and the new administrators decreed that they only wanted 14 financially viable clubs in it. Some merged, another could not make the mark and was not invited in.
5. Souths cried foul and brought the legal profession some good times. The judge ordered them into the comp.
6. As I see it, the NRL did not and does not want Souths in the comp. Neither did the paying, playing or watching public outside of Redfern or the eastern suburbs NSWRL. Nor do the other clubs. 8O
7. As for the 'foundation club' defence, I concede that Souths were indeed a foundation club of the NSWRL. The NRL however has 14 foundation clubs, Souths are not one of them and nor will the Titans be (although they will be financially viable).
In summary, Souths are in the comp only coz the Judge said they could be, not on playing, financial, or moral merit.
By the way, I am hoping to take a loan out to purchase SOO 3 tickets, anyone coming down or thinking of going? Love to catch up.
Regards
Ralph

Ralph1Malp -- the only injustice in the NRL is how Brisbane (the second largest RL playing city in Australia) still only has 1 team! In the words of one other Queenslander...."please explain"
Souths are back and here to stay. I think most RL fans enjoy seeing Souths back in the comp and it is good for RL.
Besides, we have won more premierships than any other club

I watch,, and nobody asked me,,
obviously Ralph1Malph, the LAW seems to think Souths should be in the comp,,
I dont recall the other clubs taking a vote on expelling Souths?
Like most things forced into a corner--
Souths have come out fighting,,
A good thing it is too,
A comp without Souths would be a sorry place.
Its only a short hop from a privately owned company to one on the stock market,,
then watch the fur fly!
