View Full Version : Ride On Mowing Horror ;-)

Thought some people might get a good snicker out of these pics, this is what happens when ride on mowing goes wrong. With all the rain of late, I have been gradually mowing the place and was doing the front paddock when horror struck. Whilst going back up the hill the wheels started spinning. So I put her in reverse, gave a little "what for" and ended up sliding in reverse, much to my horror. Well you can see how it ended up, cuppla beers later all was good. Now have to get Sharlea to help me get it out this arvo ;-),

You weren't trying to impersonate the guy on the other "big sand dune" thread were you Stevo?

Might have to get difflocks and muddies for the ride on!

Yes, it could have been worse, someone was looking out for me, mainly the fence  . Can't get the disco in there so little lady will be helping me give it a shove this arvo and have it pointed upwards so I can get it back for repairs 8O . I'd almost seriously consider some muddies and locker equivalent for the ride on as it isnt the first time I have gone into a slide there :?

I take it that the hot tape wasn't, otherwise the whole experience would have simply been shocking https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Stevo,
I think you should look at getting some custom bar work on that thing (Roll Cage) and start wearing your V8 race helmet when you mow.

Would have been funny if it was an electric fence. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Would have been funny if it was an electric fence[/b][/quote] It is, it just wasnt switched on, thank goodness ( insert more colourful expletive at will), now with it raining wont be venturing out to have another crack just yet  , me thinks it will be going thru camping gear and having a coldy instead,
