Ride on Horror-Part 2 The Recovery

Hey All,

Well my first post today was what can go wrong on a ride on. This afternoon was the recovery. If I could have got the disco down there, would have been much easier :wink: . End result was a safe recovery, bit of naughty language between loved ones 8O , and a lesson not to leave a coldy around an 8O almost 3 year old 8) , cheeky brat,

Hmm I forgot I was wearing those shorts, there only meant to be for around the house, sight unseen 8O . Prior to hitting the fence in a backwards slide, about 5 mins before I was coming down the hill in a slide whilst facing down. In that case I was able to slide it round to safety 8) . Not good on the old heart though, one can have too much adrenilin :wink: Will wait till things dry up a smidgy more before I tackle it again https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I knew I should have worn the shorts with the nnnaaakkkeeedddd llllaaadddiiiessss on them :wink: . I always thought they were a little ummmm dodgy, but obviously since the slamming I am getting from all quarters there was a bloody good reason they were only $10, would not seem to be a big seller. Nice to touch though 8O ,

When I was a young lad, we had fun. I saved up $60 (milk and paper run)and bought a minibike frame when I was about 11. Another $5 got me an old Victa Mower and I learnt how to build a bike, fix 2 stroke engines and have a blast every day after school! And there wasn't a do gooder in sight.
There was a (disused) quarry nearby and at 4pm every week day it was full of kids on scooters, pushbikes, mini bikes and step thrus and no one got hurt, just dirty. Fantastic! Homework? Bah!


Whats a kid to do? Have fun, you're only kid for as long as you want to be, eh Stevo....

Bloody do gooders. Read my piece about do gooders trying to shut the 55k long beach from Ballina to Evans Head, but that's another story.
