Hi All
Newbie here again.......I have developed a problem with the master window switch on the drivers door in my 2007 Disco 3 SE. The left rear window can be operated from the left rear door both up and down, but when you operate it from the master controls on the drivers door switches, it will operate the window down, but it will not operate the window back up (it was working a couple of days ago) I took it to an auto electrician who said he tested it and all the wiring is fine but it is the switch that is faulty not sending a signal to the rear door to lift the window up.
Can this switch be opened and cleaned like others I have seen on you tube or am I going to have to replace the entire switch assembly?
Any advice would be great please as I don't want to fork out for a complete switch if I can open and clean the contacts in this one. Even better if someone can point me to where this has already been discussed on the forum or even a you tube link on how to do it? I have attempted pulling the switch out, it comes out of the door panel easy enough but it appears that the wiring is too short or cable tied inside the door to allow me to pull the switch out so I can get to the plugs to remove them (do I have to take the door panel off)
Thanks in advance!!!!

There is at least one on ebay at present - I think the seller is Bundalene. Have got stuff of him before and no issues at all.

I have had to replace two in my RRS - it is poor design of the plastic rocker switches - if you pull up too hard the plastic where they pivot breaks - in some cases the switch can still work but in others it doesn't.
I get mine from TR Spares in Adeaide.
The trick is that they are "touch' switches and require a delicate touch - pull them up and they will break sooner or later.

You may be able to buy a single switch and fit it into the master panel.

I don't believe so - that is why I have kept my old dead switch blocks so that I could try a repair in future. The switches would have to be heated to soften the plastic to get the old switches out and back in without damage

I've got a 2005 S 'pov pack' D3 and it has 'one touch' only on the drivers door.
Does anyone know if an updated switch would provide 'one touch' to the other windows as well?

My 07 RRS has one touch on the combined drivers door switch panel for the front doors only - for the rears you have to hold up or down as needed. I assume is the same for D3s SE/HSE.
