G,day people fitted led replacement indicators , side lights and back/brake lights that came in a kit with an adjustable relay to my 2015 defender110 . Well I fitted relay into wrong position the one under the flasher relay , after realising I changed it to correct position but now my electric windows don't work . Tried a different relay still no good checked fuses in relation to windows all ok . Any body got any ideas what to check now ? Thanks Richard

You did what to who??... do the indicator at least work good?
Seriously though.... I'm still thinking you have missed a blown fuse there somewhere.
IF you can use a multimeter or a test light (hey you did put the relay in the wrong spot right??), I'd say pull one of the window up/down buttons out and see if you are getting power, if you are, see if when switch is activated if the power goes out of the switch, if yes then pull a door card off and see if power is getting to the window reg.
P.S BEFORE doing all that, try disconnecting battery for a bit and reconnect and see if it all works (just for ****s and giggles)

Hi,
PPS read the manual on battery removal BEFORE you disconnect it.

Hi,
Yep, the big feller what starts your engine.
Don't just disconnect it or you confuse the electronics and it won't start, thinks it is being stolen and anoys the neighbourhood by pulsing the horn.
IIRC,
1) Losen the negative strap
2) Sit in the driver's seat, everything off, doors closed, windows up.
3) Key in ign, turn on for 10 seconds, key off and out, pull the negative strap off the battery.
When reconnecting, don't double touch, get it on first go and tighten it down.
Vehicle should start now, but it may take a few starts/runs to settle down with things like correctly indicating lock/unlock flash sequence etc.
It is all in the manual.
Cheers
