Is anyone else on here (in SE QLD) retired or a shift worker with days off during the week :?:

I'm looking for people keen to do day trips on weekdays - less crowded (the beaches are EMPTY !) and easy to get away unlike weekends with the handbrake and her other plans...........

I’m always up for midweek trips for the very reasons you posted Vlad.

But with me, I like very early starts if trip is on north side of Brissy so as to beat the traffic and late finishes for the same reason.

I can always find a train or two to video while filling time.

That's geat. Could everyone interested in weekday trips please PM me your name/ contact details etc so when I set something up I can contact you all.

And when I have the list compiled, I''ll send it to each of you, so ANYONE can plan a trip.

I have some very detailed trip notes for Bellthorpe if you need them

https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

As a matter of course you should also obtain an annual forestry permit so you can go wherever and whenever.

I doubt there is much chance I can get away mid week though

Dave,

Can you flick me a copy of those trip notes, or I can organise to pick them up off you.

No Dave don't do it. He'll only do evil things with it and take a bunch of Land Rovvers and Range Rovers up there some time.

I'll get a copy from you next time I see you please, at the meeting perhaps.

Speaking of annaul permits - i lost my application for dso you have one you can send ?

Also is it possible to get one covering all SE Qld SF's (well, the ones that are open anyway) ? Last time I looked the sunshine coast region limited you to choose a certain number of them out of the total. Say 7 of 12 or something like that.

Vlad,

You deserve an anal permit you dog!!!! We've prob got more LR's than RR's in the RRCQ anyway :?

You can still get Annual permits for every open or accesible forest from the EPA I think. My expired yesterday, they will give you the lot still though!

See the Rover Park thread too - are LROC keen on this - I noticed you had a Moreton trip the same weekend.
