I am looking at purchasing a Rhinomax Hybrid Camper. I have not made my mind up totally on this brand or which model but as I live a days drive away from the factory and I only know of 1 person who owns one (pm'd them already) I am seeking any other owners for feedback and photos.

I have trawled the internet for photos and videos but they only show so much. You do not get to stick your head under the trailer to see how they have laid out the plumbing & wiring, water tanks and chassis design. You also can't see under the seats to see how they wire up their products, plumb things etc. Also unable to run a tape measure over them.

Therefore I am seeking photos & advice on accessories, build quality, information etc, anything so as to help me before I decide if I take the 3 or 4 days required to just go and have a look at one. I am keeping my eye out for caravan shows they might be attending also but they are not sure of their current schedule at this time. Fell free to PM me if you need to or send photos that way.

Hi Laurie,
A late reply but only just read your post.
I actual went past their place yesterday...I am looking for a camper.....you could easily see in whilst they were making them. I would guess they would have no problem showing you around....I might be wron thou. No harm in asking.
They also, or someone around the Siunshine Cost, here out their models...perhaps you could hire one to see how they go. I am about 15kms away from their workshop....

I've looked at them at shows and they seem good quality.

I tried to have a good look at the Rhinomax stable at the Rockhampton Camping and Caravan show a couple of months ago. They had plastic chains to prevent access to the interiors of the vans. As I wasn’t able to go inside and get a feel for the arrangement they offered I lost interest. I am very impressed with the King’s Off-road 12/15 van. It seems to me that it offers all I want and for a fraction of the cost of a Rhinomax.

I’ve had a look at one at Toowoomba Show. They let you past the plastic chain if you ask.

They look very well made. Crawled around underneath.

Very basic for the price but the Complete Campsite models are the same.

Will have a look at the Kings model.

Am considering one myself (the Scorpion) but have never actually seen one in the flesh yet.

Why do you say it looked 'basic for the price'?

I had a look at a Rhinomax at The Rockhampton Caravan show a couple of months ago. I wasn’t well enough dressed or had some other character defect because they wouldn’t let me past the plastic chain. That pinged me off big time so I have basically dropped Rhinomax from my wish list. The AOR product and price looks comparable to the Rhinomax. On a value for price basis the Kings is at the top of my list at present. However I looked at an Ezi Trail Parkes 13 at Lightning Ridge Caravan Park today. It was pretty similar to the Kings but fell short on a couple of points. So, at this stage I will go for Kings.
