Is it getting hot while running? Or pressurising and blowing fluid when you stop?
I've just recently gone through the whole scenario myself and it turned out to be a $15 expansion tank cap
I'd be replacing that first. C.P.C. Auto components (available from Autopro e.t.c.) part #572 135.

Wish we had a n FAQ.

When does it overheat?. I bet going slowly. If I am correct , buy a new viscous coupling.
If going fast you have zee biiig problem, either a head gasket or slipped sleeve.

Kitch,

Without wishing to quench your question this place has accumulated a shirt load of information over the last few years.

Overheating seems to be a problem lately for many reasons.

Well there is sort of...and it is called Common Threads.

As a Mod of that section I am happy to string together stuff relating to this issue but it seems that using the AULRO Search facility is a method that people should use first. Just because the FAQ is there doesn't mean that people will look there.

There have been about 8000 topics posted, 3000 of which have been on the technical forum.

So a simple search using "overheating" will reveal 84 topics. That narrows it down and a quick scan reveals much.

So for those who don't know:

Search

Key word:

Result:

People should do their research first and then ask all they like  https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

And that way people like PhilipA and Disco95 can help more effectively https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
