Never - It's all Rover, so I have read - 80" chassis, 90 rear tub, Series 2 wings AND specially adapted 101 wheels!

The farmer is a crack-up! with his 'doof doof' music in the tractor, and sometimes in the landy, a pleasure to watch!

Just found the article on the Shaun the Sheep Laaand Rover in LRO magazine (June 2007).

As noted by Sleepy it uses SI 80" rolling chassis, engine, gearbox, axles, bulkhead (lower), steering & seats. SII Wings, bonnet, radiator panel, door hinges, sills. SIII doors. Defender bulkhead (top), windscreen, truck cab, rear tub, tailgate. P38A DVD screens (to entertain the kids when it goes on show). 101FC wheels.
Convertors were made to adapt the 101 wheels to the SI hubs.

If anyone wants a copy of the article I can scan it and email, just send me a PM.

Does anyone else watch Shaun the Sheep?

I do and I'm convinced it's not a children's programme. There are too many sight jokes that I'm sure would go over the heads of young kids. I rarely laugh at comedy programmes nor comedians but I do get a quite few from Shaun the Sheep.

It's a clever show. Worth looking at what's behind it.

Yes, yes and yes Ron!

I watch it, my kids watched it when young (and still do as teenagers) and my father in law watches it. We all get something different I’m sure and definitely good for a laugh :)

Yes, it's very funny - one of those shows that's made for adults that the kids can watch. 👍😊

I'd forgotten about the earlier thread (it was 10 years ago) when I started mine tonight. Threads merged, thanks Mick.

My favourites are the pigs. I do wish the labrador guide dogs we get were as useful as Bitzer! [biggrin]
