View Full Version : Which video do you like best?

Some of you will have seen the first video I did today of our trip on Saturday. My wife and and a couple of others have told me they don't like it because it jumps around a lot. I was just trying to be a bit "arty" and get it all in time to the music using clips in random order.
So now I have done another 3 min video which uses the same music but is edited in a more normal way using all the clips in sequence.
Which one do you like better? (you will probably need broadband to view)

PS. after watching them, if you go to your "temporary internet folder" you can then open them using Windows media and watch it in full screen

the clips in time with the music idea was good but I think there was a few too many quick scene changes, the random order got me confused, I'm getting old.
to sum up the second one, but changing scene on a beat is good.

I liked them both, but i thought the second one was a bit better to watch because of the less scene changes, it also downloaded faster, not that it was a bad thing but could be for those without cable.
Looked like heaps of fun https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I agree. I would also note however that I personally would have chosen a different piece of music for that sort of trip - perhaps such a 'beat' might be better for a rock crawling video or something like that.
Yes the idea of synch with the beat is interesting but the rapidity of it was a bit much. If you had more footage and you could change scenes with the beat to a limited extent, and still keep the story line fairly linear I reckon that would be ideal.
Having said that, I have done nothing half as good, so congratulations on both efforts :!: https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Oh, and I'm jealous - I want lockers and mud :!: :!:

Thanks. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
I am using Pinnacle Studio 9 Pro.
I also have Adobe Premier which is a lot more powerful but I find Studio a lot easier to use and it's a lot cheaper

I have used all those programs. I don't think Winows movie maker is even comparable with the other programs, it is like comparing a Lada to a new Rangie. https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
But all the others are good, I just find Studio the most user friendly. The earlier versions of Studio had lots of annoying bugs which caused a lot of frustration but they seem to have it all together in version 9 and now version 10 is out.
