Hi all,
In tearing down the brake system my brake reservoir is U/S, Maggie has a CB master cylinder. My question are two fold.
a. [deleted advert - put it in the Markets]
b. Can I use a CV brake reservoir (as they seem to be the only ones available) on a CB master cylinder (my gut is no, due to brass line spigot on the bottom of the reservoir)
Cheers

you can get them out of England last time I looked.
I am running an original res and the newer master cylinder so yes you can mix and match...

The reservoir is the same on all 2a four cylinder, and on 6 cyl up to suffix 'F' (booster after that) - but there are five different pipes from the reservoir to the m/c!

G'day all,
Thank you very much for all the replies. I'll have a look at options but at least I know that I can mix and match (probably what I'll do). You guys are the best brains trust about ..

Thanks for the link Colin, my usual UK supplier is having Aust GST issues so I've just picked up a few items from Pegasus.

John Craddock.
Apparently due to changes in Aust GST law they now have to register. Don’t know much about it but I was waiting for weeks and it still hasn’t been resolved.
Its a shame, I’m quite happy with their service and pricing.
Peter.

Me too, always used Craddock's found price , service , delivery & freight very good. Havn't bought anything off them for about 6 months. Have noticed a lot of suppliers in UK & US on ebay no longer post to AU now.

Which type of resevoir are you after , one with out let on bottom only or one with bottom & side outlet. 142789 142788 I think my brother has a new one with the two outlets with a metal cap he bought for his Mk7 Jaguar a few years ago . I think he would sell it as he no longer has the Mk7. I will check with him today & see what he wants for it .

G'day all,
My sincerest apologies if I've misunderstood the forum, I'm not trying to sell or buy or anything, just trying to get some information on brake reservoirs. Can I not mention suppliers on here ? (genuine question)
Cheers
