I am for the first time registering an unregistered bike. Bah!. they gouge you at every turn. $18 to make an appointment and then $30 just to go out to the carpark and check the VIN. Paid in advance.
If for some reason you can't make it - tough.
Then the "motorcycle safety levy" as part of the reg.

Used to ride for the cheap transport. Not any more.

Yes its a bloody rip, and another TAC charge - can only use 1 at a time so why should we pay it again.

Caravan rego in vic , about $70 , NSW about $800

My Iveco was $1900 in QLD , its $540 in Vic

no annual RWC .

I paid an appointment fee to Vicroads to get my Landy's Blue Plate inspected for EV mods , got their & say I didn't need an appointment so got the fee refunded , . , I'm not complaining .
