You'll need a licence.
Oh, are they knobly off road tyres? Change them to road tyres. I did that with mine.
I see your front forks are sprung. That is good. Mine aren't. You'll need a sprung seat if you don't have one already.

The seat post is sprung( and weight adjustable!)[bighmmm]
but yea, nice big fat granny seat is on the list,,
and front is semi smooth, rear is normal mountain bike fare..

Base model Chinese made tray top with Model T brakes and no turbocharger. You be posting about needing upgrades to enhance its off road ability any time soon. Questions about safety and legality will rear their ugly heads.

Then there's the N rule, where N is the number of objects you actually own and N + 1 is what you think you need to own.

Sprung seat? How archaic. You want the Cadillac of seat post upgrades, poly bush springs and parallelogram linkages.

So, exactly how swift will you be now Mr Pedro? Read the other day a mere slip of girl set a new speed record on her new tredly - 296 km/hr ave over 5k.
Surely won't take long to get to that sort of level, no?

Pretty impressive. I remember watching a doco about Guy Martin cracking 100mph (or so) on a pushy a few years ago, so 290+ Kph might be a bit of a challenge Pedro. [biggrin]

She should have done it in a fur bikini.
That way all the oldies would cry about safety, all the youngies would cry about sexism and everyone in between could cry about the fur she used.
Oh that would have been the icing on the cake now wouldnt it?

See that's your trouble Bee utey,, you go all transengental on our ass when Rick asks the important stuff....[bigwhistle][bighmmm][bigrolf][biggrin]
Heres a good chance to show off,, ([tonguewink]) what do the two stanchion top knobs actually do?
is there actual rebound and damping controls?
The only time I actually feel the fronts working is off gutters??
am I asking too much for a old( at least ten years, actual DOM is still unknown,,) bike?
new staunchions are cheap though...

Not much, except tip you off if you reach down and adjust them on the fly. (ask me how I know)

My mate & I wandered into a Mitre 10 this arvo after a 70km ride in our sensible old man black lycra and no-one batted an eyelid. RRC owners look good wearing whatever they damn well please. [biggrin]

Just a wild stab in the dark, but I'm guessing that yours and Pedro's body shapes may be slightly different... Also, if he wants to go for the least wind resistance, he'd need to remove a few of his chin whiskers, which I'm betting won't happen. :)

Chin whiskers? Tick.
Middle age spread? Tick.
All a bit like a bull bar and a roof rack on yer RRC, not stylish but who cares about top speed anyway...

That has 23 too many gears. You only need one and get rid of that suspension fork[biggrin]
And keep the whiskers.
