Loose Flaps!! Defender front air vent flaps blowing closed.

Ok so i have a problem with my flaps blowing closed on my 2002 Defender at anything near highway speed.
Is there a fix for this?
All seemed to be fine when they were all seized up and with corroded pins.
Then when fitting new seals i replaced the pin with britpart stainless that are slightly thinner allowing some play.
I also got some Inox into the hinge pin on the actuator arm to free that up. Now everything moves well.....too well.

The lever springs sideways into notches to stop it doing this. My best guess is that the levers have been bent sideways so they are not doing this. Probably just a matter of straightening them, but you may have to pull them off to do this.
