Upper Arms and Suspension overextended.

Just had my 2016 D4 TDV6 in for its 126k service after doing Cape York for 5 weeks.
Was told that I've destroyed my upper control arm bushes and that my driver's front airbag has been overextended and is bulging.
Been quoted $1480 upper control arms and $1500 for the suspension.
Just wondering if anyone has had these?
Right price?
Can the suspension be raised to max (with LAMS) and the airbag bulge be tucked back in?

Sorry if these are newbie questions but I've not had anything to do with this element of these cars yet.

It gets over extended when the internal shock absorber fails so that it no longer limits the downward extension of the strut. You need a new strut to fix it, regardless of any damage to the air bag.

Mine had more damage than yours when it over extended the front left so you are lucky. They might find more stuff when they do the work, though.

This is for a D3. Earlier this year I ordered 4 x Delphi struts which are OEM from Duckworths delivered for $425 each. Send Dan (dan.roberts@duckworth.co.uk) an email and see what he can do for you.

I ordered struts from Dan at Duckworths like Sean, although a few people have tried to contact him since with no success. Both are great service, 3-4 business days for delivery via DHL. If you have the time, the upper arms on the front are extremely easy to fit. You'll probably need to buy 2 spanners and a hex key to stop the ball joint spinning.

Did actually flick Dan an email the second I got off the phone from Alto Land Rover.
He's quoted 358 pounds for the upper control arm set and 175 pounds per airbag and said best to do both fronts at the same time.

Having never done any of this before, where do I find out how, or is it actually that easy to just figure out?

Wouldn't the airbag be covered by warranty of the shock had failed?

D4 TDV624mm deep socket and a good breaker bar, drop the strut down then undo the air line.
