Bandit,
Aquarangie is your man - particularly Beerwah State Forest.....he's lead a heap of RRCQ trips there.
There is oodles of tracks through the Glasshouse area - from mild to wild.

Yeah, there are heaps of great tracks around that area....I've been there a few times when I was in the Suzuki Club.
Keep in mind that you will need a QLD Parks and Wildlife "Permit to Traverse" for most of the areas in there......it's free though.

Yep, this is my favourite day trip if you like your wheeling a bit on the wild side like I do.
Diff locks, winches and recoveries are not uncommon on this trek. Permit is required, especially in a club sense. Private ones are free as well as club permits, last 12 months and will expire when your rego does.

Fax it to them and they'll post it back. I keep mine in the glovebox with the other vehicle paperwork. EASY!!! https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

Bandit,
Don't worry - they don't ask for a copy of rego - just give them the date on the form.
