IF

you wish to stay pedantically legal (?) then 0 offset it has to be in my opinion and is the way i went with the 130

infinity rims 16x7 with 0 offset which are rated @ 1250kg and 235/85x16 pirelli ATR

infinity are local as well with an office in narangba

i got mine through caboolture discount tyres, sue was very helpful.

Hi mate,

I have 265/75R16 tyres, so a little wider than standard. Mine sit on King Wheels, 16x7 with zero offset. I think they work well.

Cheers,
Nige

Try this handy web tool

Wheel Offset Calculator (https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/)

If you need to stay legal, check track width increase allowed for your state. In Tas it's 50mm total, so 33-25 gets you to a max legal offset of +8.

Wolf rims will look good on any defender I reckon and they are approx +20.

+1 for wolf HD steel rims. Perfect offset for Defender. Classic. Still the best.

The HD/Wolf rims are fine for 235/85's, but if you ever contemplate 255/85's 0 offset is better.

I won’t be popular with the wide tyre devotees, but the wider the tyre the more frontal resistance, especially when aired down on sand. Narrower tyres elongate like caterpillar tracks. ...Wolf rims can also run the new BFG KM3 in 7.50R16 😳😎

Has the 7.50 replaced the 235/85?

Has the 7.50 replaced the 235/85?

Apparently they’re doing both 😎
