Got the ffr out on a mates property somewhere up behind Ringwood I believe it is and took it down the tight tracks he has down the back of the property. The car immediately felt at home off the tar and absolutely tractored up the banks and over logs etc even with a fourby novice like me half way to bunny hopping the thing a cpl of times getting used to the gear ratio down low sappa didn't spin a wheel just did what was asked. Fantastic.
Got/gave first defender wave to a gentleman in a 90 in Templstowe as he was navigating the "apple peel" roundabout. This is something I'm familiar with as a sports bike rider (I gauge about %75 of Harley riders to be motor snobs not all though I nod to all on two wheels burning gasoline ) but never experienced that in a car before.
Had the unfortunate experience of constantly having people trying to get in front even when not being held up by me on the freeway today. If you don't tailgate the car in front and leave safe space between the bxxxxxs just squeeze in so your right up them. Really gives me an appreciation for the professionalism and patience of some of our nations truck drivers really a job I don't envy.
