Hi everyone,
cleaning up my engine bay and the foam on the underside of the plastic engine cover has turned to dust, so has anybody put any other sort of soundproofing there ?
...any ideas ?...suggestions ?...comments...all help gratefully received.
cheers

Just go to Clark rubber as they keep a suitable product that I used. They have 2 thickness, I used the thicker one and I reckon the thinner one would have been easier to apply. Just attach using contact cement and mould and cut to shape as you go.

I got a couple of boxes of insulation from Car Builders and it worked fine. Some are waterproof, so they are the ones to use. Work on the floor as well.

IvanWhen mine fell apart , I didn't replace the foam as I reckon a bit more air flow over the motor is better than wrapping it up here, in Australian conditions.
