Hi. First post here. But after some reading about I think this is probably going to be best forum for this question

I want to give my td5 more boost And trick the ecu not knowing it's overboosting...

I've had a read about and don't want to spend 120 on a box when I could POSSIBLY do something myself.

I've been reading about voltage caps. How would I go about setting up resisters/diodes to do this as I've looked all over but couldn't see anything to help.

I have ordered a buck voltage regulator off eBay that can limit the silly voltage to 4.8v but not sure if it will do it or not as is says that it struggles with small voltage drops.

Thanks for your time

I avoid the expensive boost boxes because they fail
You can rewrite the map to stop the overboost I currently have mine at 1.58 bar on a standard MAP sensor without issue
