Does anyone on this forum live near Oberon NSW that may be familiar with an old silver mine site at Mount Werong.

Are you thinking of re-opening it ?

I don't live near there but I am aware that the ruins of the Ruby Creek mine exist not far from the Mt Werong campground and that there were other silver mines in that region - most particularly around Yerranderie.

Always an interesting part of NSW to visit, but is quite accessible from Sydney.

I'm thinking that any Ag and associated minerals that were there have already been won and of course, it is now National Park.
